Evaluation of the Finance Situation of the Non-Profit Organization

On the basis of theoretic ways in the first part is done analysis of earnings and costs of this non-profit-organization in the second part of this study. The third part of study presents recommendation for improvement of management.
Forms of Civic Education in Junak - Czech Scout

This work aims to explain the relationship between Junák - český skaut and political participation. Junák is the biggest youth organization in the Czech Republic, whose goal is a general upbringingofyoungpeople.The thesis examines,in what ways does Junákpartake in the life of society, whether the members of exmembers are more politicalyparticipatingthat non-members, whether is this participation actively supported and what sort of mechanism explains the above average participation of members. The methods ofconduct were semi-structured interviews with high-rankingmembers ofJunák - český skaut and an analysis ofrudimentarydocuments ofthe organisation.Research proved, that Junák is an apolitical organisationin a way that it has no affiliation towards any political parties, yet it participates in the political arena by supporting and defending democratic values. Members and exmembers are more politicaly active that non-members, which is in part due to the education towards civil engagement,mostlyin the form ofteachingmembers to accept responsibility over common matters by Junák. Scout troops in times of totalitarianism in Bohemia

The thesis deals with the history of scouting in Bohemia, especially focusing on its functioning in totalitarian goverments. The first chapter deals with the formation of scouting in the world and its foreign founders, the second chapter continues with the formation of scouting in our country and its Czech founder. In other chapters, scouting in Bohemia is described in individual time periods. These are divided into the period of the First World War, the occupation of Czechoslovakia (this chapter also includes a brief description of the interwar period), then the years 1948-1970, and finally the period after 1970 until the Velvet Revolution (1989). In the next chapter, the difference between the Junák and Pionýr organizations is explained, especially according to their laws. The thesis also deals with the personality of Jaroslav Foglar and his influence on Czech scouting. The last chapters are dedicated to the history of a specific troop, Třináctka Opařany, which also includes memories of witnesses from this troop for the period after 1970.
The history of scouting in Písek from the first time to the present

The thesis deals with the history of the Scout movement from the beginning to the present in the town od Písek. It consists of the chapters, some of which are further broken down. At the same time, the work is complemented by thememories of the Písek Scout witnesses. At the beginning of the work, i tis described in two chapters briefly the situation of the arrival of scouting in the world, the arrival of scouting from England to Bohemia. Since the third chapter, the work has dealt specifically with the history of the movement in Písek. The following chapters are broken down by periods: 1919 arrival of scouting in Písek, from the 1920s to the first ban in 1940, scouting after World War II until the Communist coup, the period between the Communist coup ant the Prague Spring, scouting in Písek between 1968 and 1970, the period from 1970 to the Velvet Revolution, from the Revolution to millennium, and the last chapter is scouting today, which contains a subjective view of scouting, as an opportunity to spend leisure time in Písek
Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.
Comparison of preparation Scout and Pionyr group leaders to child education and working with them

The aim of this work is comparation of two organizations working with children and youth and their systems of leader education. It is concerned with the largest organizations of this type in Czech Republic which are "Junák - svaz skautů a skautek ČR" and association "Pionýr". Both of these organizations has a long tradition in extracurricular education in Czech Republic.
Scouting in Czech Republic: brand perception research in 2015

The thesis Brand perception research on scouting in Czech Republic in 2015 aims to gather all available information about Czech scout organization Junák - český skaut, about the brand management instruments used by this organization and mostly about the public perception of the brand of this organization for which data from a professionally conducted brand research will be used. The first part defines areas of marketing theory that are relevant for the thesis. The second part is focused on the organization Junák, its ideological foundations, history, organizational structure and membership base. This part also offers a summary of previously conducted researches and their outputs. The third part focuses on a research made for the organization by Ipsos research organization this spring, confronts the acquired data with previous findings and answers chosen research questions. Generalized conclusions can thereafter serve as recommendations for the Junák's future brand management.
Junák - Czech scouting? To the ideological origins of the Czech Scouting.

This master thesis focuses on founding and forming of czech scouting. The main source are printed documents because of lack preserved archive documents. The main method is textological and comparative analysis. At first the history of world and czech scouting is presentend. To find out the essential differences between english and czech scouting I compared two basic manuals: Scouting for Boys and Základy junáctví. In the following part of the thesis I determine three areas in which the reception of scouting in czech environment is investigated. These areas are scout value system, attitude to nation and state and relation to the Sokol organisation. In thesis are also analyzed the results of international research concerning the origin of scouting in other european countries. The results are then copared with the situation in czech lands. The thesis also includes three following attachments: set of short biographies of mentioned personalities, edition of scout laws and filled research questionnaires.
Program differences of the summer camps of the selected non-profit organizations

Name of Thesis: Program differences of the summer camps of the selected non-profit organizations. Thesis objectives: The comparison of the program differences of four non-profit organizations was the objective of the research. Method: All data were found out through the questionnaire, which was send by email through the home organization. These data were analyzed and the conclusions were deduced from therm. Results: The research proved that the program differences are very insignificant at these organizations. Each detachment has its specifics and it prepares the camp by its way, but the final orientation and also course of games are very similar. It doesn't matter so many about the organizations, to which the detachments are included, but rather about the detachment itself.
